Rozgar Mela in Delhi: In a meeting convened by Labor and Employment Minister Raj Kumar Anand, the planning and organization of 'Rozgar Mela' was discussed with the Labor Department and Vice Chancellor of Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU). In the meeting, the Delhi government decided to organize a large-scale employment fair to provide better employment opportunities to the youth.
Rozgar Mela in Delhi: Delhi government is soon going to organize an employment fair for the youth of the state. For the purpose of providing career counseling services to the youth, 20 additional employment centers will also be set up. In a meeting convened by Labor and Employment Minister Raj Kumar Anand, the planning and organization of the 'Rojgar Mela' was discussed with the Labor Department and the Vice-Chancellor of Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU).
In the meeting, the Delhi government decided to organize a large-scale employment fair to provide better employment opportunities to the youth. During the job fair, experts will provide career counseling to the youth, which will help them choose a career stream as per their potential and qualification. At present three such employment centers are running in Delhi. In the meeting, the minister directed DSEU to propose to increase the number of employment centers to 20.
Special focus on PwD
In addition, the importance of providing special care and support to PwD candidates was also emphasized. The meeting directed the officers and urged them to arrange a job fair specially for the differently-abled persons to ensure that they get equal opportunities for employment and career advancement.
